Dr. Carly Bendewald first encountered the power of Chiropractic when her younger brother, Ross, was chronically sick. After a year of dealing with clinics, ear tubes, antibiotics, and the use of a nebulizer, someone suggested her brother see a chiropractor. With chiropractic treatments, dietary changes, and Standard Process supplements, he started down the road toward wellness and became a healthy, happy child.
Personally, Dr. Carly was treated by a Chiropractor for abdominal and back pains that did not respond to conventional medical treatment as a teen. It was then that she realized that drugs only relieve symptoms and do not treat the cause of the problem. She came to understand that the body is designed to heal itself from the inside out.
After getting her required pre-requisite classes, she attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, MN where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic. With the use of wellness-based Chiropractic, Dr. Carly is able to naturally maximize the function of an individual without medications or surgery.
Dr. Carly spends her free time volunteering with the Junior League of Dallas, plays in the Highland Park UMC Handbell group, and loves cheering on the SMU Mustangs.
